Well, I finally ordered a while ago an implement from Aunt Kay, that I felt I would truly dread. My opinion: now that Lynn has used the strap. It is ferocious.

Lynn decided I needed to be spanked, even though I had been spanked severely just three days before regarding her weight loss scheme. It was decided to use the new strap.

On the first stroke, my knees buckled, from the chastising effect of the strap. Each spank was delivered with seeming ease on Lynn's part, with devastating effects on my bottom. The strap is easy to hold, and seems to just attack your bottom in a easy swinging motion. I was able to sort of see it coming the first time, and it did not seem to be intimidating. Displaying spanking brushes

A quick post to let you know the follow-up to my email to my wife. I made, which I thought to be a sarcastically humerous joke about something my wife did, and she did not see the humor. use of a safe word

I have joined the Ladies_Who_Enjoy_Spanking_Men@yahoogroups.com , am currently only reading posts, and one posting by Betty is worth repeating.

The posting:

A safety word means stop immediately. My wife and I have never needed to
use one. It appears that until this word is absolutely memorized, it should be repeated before each spanking, just for safety. I thought I would ask a little feedback from you as to what implement you are normally spanked with. I will follow up this poll in a few days with the number of implements that are usually used in one spanking.




Aunt Kay recommends that normally a spanking should be given with three different implements

Thus, anyone experiencing one spanking session as shown in these three spankings would know that they have been properly and truly spanked.





Using different implements makes sense, in that, using one implement can possibly numb the spankee's bottom, and thus the effectiveness of the spanking is somewhat diminished.





Personally, Lynn's use of her favorite wooden bath brush is extremely effective. Any time she adds on an additional non-wooden implement, the intensity of the spanking is dramatically increased. This happens infrequently, but the soreness remains as a reminder for a significantly longer period.

Since I am the husband that is spanked, I have not really thought of what my wife is thinking while she is spanking me. The one-sided conversation(lecture) of why I am being spanked takes part of my attention, and the wooden bath brush( or another instrument) captures the rest of my attention. Thus, the concept of 'topspace' is intriguing.

What is my wife thinking of while she is spanking me, and does she sometimes go into a topspace zone?

You know your wife quite well and have been spanked by her often enough to know if she is giving you her full attention. I found your post interesting though because I do something similar. Often right after I've finished a spanking I seem "not quite there". I often have a very grim expression, usually a slight frown. Sometimes if he has not been spanked by me before the man I've just finished spanking thinks he's displeased me in some way. Though this is almost always far from the case.
The thing is despite outward appearances I am not ignoring the naughty boy I have just spanked. I am not thinking about my chore list or errands I must run or my waiting pile of homework. I'm not thinking about the session I just finished, either. To be honest, I'm not really thinking anything. Part of me is monitoring him very careful. I prefer whenever possible to have someone completely back to normal before they leave after a spanking. To that end, I'm watching him? Is he still crying? Are his eyes red? What's the expression on his face? Is he trembling? Are his eyes vacant or glassed over? I'm also listening to the way he's breathing, waiting for it to come back to normal, listening for any other little sounds he might be making. I will admit taking a little bit of pleasure in that gasp he makes when his underwear slids into place and he first feels the pressure of the fabric and elastic on his hot, sore skin. His eyes go wide and the reality of what just happened hits him all over again. It's a wonderful moment.

The thing is that is only taking a small part of my mind. I have no idea where the rest of me is. However, this is fairly common. I'm sure you and most of our other members are familiar with the concept of "subspace". Not as many people know that there is a complimenatry state "Topspace". This is caused by a release of chemicals in the brain just as subspace is, however the chemicals are slightly different, still when it goes right both parties feed into each other and they are off in their own little world. Often I tell people that when I am in the middle of a session they could hold the Rose Parade, the Super Bowl and the Second Coming in my living room less than 10 ft from me and I would not notice. This is because when it is going well I'm in that space, he is in his and all that exists during that time is the session. Just as it takes a little while after it's over for the person being spanked to come back to normal, it takes we who do the spanking some time to do the same.

However, as I said at the begining you know your wife best, and if you think her mind is really elsewhere you should talk to her about it. Don't challenge, don't complain, just say she looks worried about something.

LA CANE une autre fois

Well, I thought my limited French might catch your attention, exactly as the cane has captured Lynn's attention.

Yesterday, my weight was up immensely, which makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. This might mean that we have to take a different approach to losing weight, or simply I might have to stop eating.

I informed Lynn of my weight, and Lynn informed me to get the cane. No waiting around this time. Unfortunatley, the position of me bending, supporting my upper body with my hands on a chair, was not protective of my back. We tried my supporting my entire upper body on a counter, but there was no swing room for Lynn to use the cane.

Lynn, however, remembered that Aunt Kay had stated when we visited that another equally effective way is that I should lay on a bed, with my bottom propped up by pillows. No strain on the back, just on my bottom. [This proves that Lynn is thinking back to the visit to Aunt Kay, and benefitting from her experience.]

Now, the bad point. Lynn stated that maybe the spankings are not working effectively enough because of the sex we have most times immediately after the spanking. Thus, this morning, there would be the spanking, but no sex immediatley following, and as it ended up, we were up very late, and went to sleep with just a cuddle.

We went into the bedroom, Lynn carrying the cane, and I put two pillows on top of each other. I suggested to Lynn that she should try a few practice strokes on the pillows, because this was a different motion than when I was standing bent over at the waist.

Lynn did a few tentative strokes, then smacked the pillows with considerable force, and a loud thud. Lynn cheerfully stated that she was ready, and I slowly lowered my clothes, baring my bottom, and then placed myself on top of the pillows. Lynn was ready, but I was not looking forward to the experience.

Fortunately, Lynn did not cane my bottom as hard as she had the pillows, and gave a few strokes of a very timid nature. No reaction on my part made Lynn aware that she was being timid, such that she stated maybe we will do a few more after she had gotten to six. Another eight or so had her getting a feel for swing and distance, and the last couple received a reaction from me.

The strength of those last two strokes will probably be the starting weight for the next spanking.

When finished, Lynn stated I could get up, and I thanked her for spanking me. Lynn responded that I was welcome, and left the room to continue her day, leaving me to straighten the bed and put the cane away.

The remainder of the day went very pleasantly. What will happen today is probably a repeat of yesterday, because yesterday's immediate spanking was because my weight had gone up, but today is the routine of every second day. Maybe bread and water is the solution.

more serious discipline

Yesterday, was the "every second day" in our regime of spankings to increase motivation to lose weight. Lynn is increasing the motivation with every spanking.

Since returning home from the business trip, we have moved up the scale from the small hairbrush, to 'old reliable', then to the bath brush, then the 'holy terror'.

Although I have lost some weight, it isn't moving much, and some keeps getting put back on, so increased motivation has been Lynn's goal.

Last night, Lynn in a very happy, cheerfully smiling mood, stated 'it's time for your spanking'! Lynn actually then proceeded to give me a choice, or either be spanked now, and then have dinner, or wait until after dinner. I chose now.

Lynn suggested that maybe she should use the cane! I responded that maybe could she re-read some on Aunt Kay's "Effective Caning Techniques", and practice a little before using the cane. Lynn initialially stated no, 'get a leather thing', but before I had retrieved a leather paddle she changed her mind, and stated get the manual and a cane for me to use.

I retrieved both, then setup a chair that I would bend over, and finally placed a pillow on the chair
where my bottom would be. Lynn picked up both the manual and the cane, aptly named by Aunt Kay as 'hollerin hollow'.

Lynn read a little, especially about positioning herself, and I helped adjust her directions. She then stated she would be fine, and would call me when she was ready. I went and stood in a corner in the next room. While there, I heard a number of solid thuds on the pillow, knowing fully that this practice would soon be reality on my bottom. This was not a very fun listening experience.

Lynn requested I return, and promptly had me standing bare at the waist and bent over the chair, using my hands to support myself. What followed were six smart strokes. They stung, but not as much as the holy terror or bathbrush, but then again, it was only six and Lynn is learning. The bathbrush and every other implement is used for many more spanks, obviously. These cane strokes were not as hard as what Aunt Kay had applied as just part of the spanking lesson she had given to me, in demonstrating how to use various spanking implements to Lynn.

I am certain that Lynn will learn how to use this cane even more effectively with practice. (my bottom being the practice ground.)

Lynn then informed me that she was going to take a bath, and then we would make love. She read the Cosmo Kama Sutra[77 mind blowing postions] [available at amazon.com for 12.48, i just checked] that I mentioned maybe a year ago, and we tried a new positon as part of our love making that was really tremendous. rain rain rain

Well, that sums up the weather, unless it gets a touch colder, in which case it will be snow, snow, snow...The spankings have been less on the home front, but at least three bend over now for a taste of the wooden spoon. Twas the night before New Year's Eve

Lynn is really returning to the DWC fold with enthusiasm, as slowly, we evolve into being together without family again. It has been wonderful having close family visiting with us, and our son home for the holidays.

No nonsense spanking

Lynn came home yesterday, and I went to greet her as usual. This has become a habit, instead of simply calling out "Hi" and continuing whatever I was doing. This has been one of Lynn's ideas, that whoever comes home should be greeted and share an affectionate kiss.

It is a good idea, but if I forget, a hairbrush is always a alternative response to a lack of a proper greeting, instead of a kiss.
