Hard poll. It is divided almost 50/50 between Family Room on the couch over her lap (my preference) and the Bedroom over a pillow on the bed (her preference).
However, one year after we moved into our new house, as a present, she gave me one spanking in every room (9) of the house (not all on the same day).

It seems funny that you should ask this question now. My wife's preferrence is changing from bedroom to the TV room. There are a few reasons, the first is probablly related to novelty & change of scene. Another has to do with positioning and less stress on her arm. In the TV room I'm put over the footstool and even raised on cushions I'm about a foot lower, relative to her lap, that I would be in the bedroom, over her lap. This makes for less effort/tiring of her arm. On Sat nite we watched a movie on the woman's network, something about a woman who moved to new town taking over an inherited house. My wife enjoyed it. For several commercial breaks I was treated to warmup, main course and overtime, She said I was due for a good one. (several weeks of minor illness had seen only token spankings).Having a sense of what was to come,I had tried to stall a bit and when were were headed to the TV she "ordered " me to get her tools. I tried to delay, but she would have none of it. the rest is history.
We are equally divided between the bedroom and family room. Corner time is always in the bedroom.
Since I keep my "tools" upstairs in bedroom when I
do use the family room I love the look on Hank's facce
when I send up to get the paddle. He knows a spanking in the family room is more than likely not
going to end with making love.

Gary: novelty is always good, so that nothing is known for certain. More important though, is that your wife should be comfortable when spankng you, not hurting her arm. the worsst part of being spanked during commercials is tthat the commercials near the end of the movie, are usually far longer than in the beginning.
Sara: a spanking does not have to end with making love, but it is wonderful as often as possible. You could experiment with being on top, and grinding Hank's bottom on a hard surface. enjoy doing whatever you think is appropriate.

Our usual place of punishment is in the bedroom because that is where we can be the most private.
My wife is keen that discipline should not be sexy so lovemaking does not occur. I have to take my punishment and then tidy things away, once she has left the room.
For quick spankings these can take place anywhere in the house and there is very suitable clothes brush in the hall cupboard or a large wooden spoon in the kitchen for just these occasions.

P.S. re your question about my blog, I am sorry to say I do not have one up and running. I keep thinking of starting one soon - but how can I compete with SH?
Michael: I am fortunate that making love is usually part of our spanking regime. I agree that implements, with imagination, are available in just about any room for a on the spot spanking. If you ever start a blog, it would not be in competition, simply another F/M blog affirming the lifestyle.
